This week, let's look at some new features and interface improvements.
New shared document on screen alert
When sharing a personal document with another user the receiver will now see an on screen icon indicating a document is shared. Actually 3 icons will be displayed:
- on the main menu, indicating the number of new documents;
- on the shared sub menu
- on the document shared with a <new> icon attached to it.
With this user interface improvement, users cannot miss a new shared information.

New message broadcast form
There is a new function in messaging module that allows to broadcast a message to all other users. When broadcasting a message, you do not select any recipient as all active and internal users are automatically selected.
This is a useful tool to quickly send a notification to all you collaborators within the system (note that with broadcast message no email notification is sent at the moment).
